I got seven hours of sleep last night and then watched videos with
what was left of my morning. Then I got ready, ate lunch, and then
went to my Mom's house. My sister was already there and we headed
down to the library for the book sale. It was pretty well picked
over, which was disappointing, but I still got a few things. They
were doing a massive sale today and people were talking around
filling up boxes with books. There were a few people who had big
trolleys with multiple boxes. It was kind of crazy. Next year,
hopefully I won't be working on Friday night.
That took about an hour, and when I got home I played a little CoD:
WW2, trying to take advantage of the double XP. And then it was
time to go pick up Chipotle and head back to my Mom's house for
dinner. It was a much delayed Chipotle night. We ate, talked, and
watched videos.
When I got home, I played more CoD: WW2. I powered through
more orders and contracts, including one for twenty-five pistol
kills. I started by trying to do it in War, but that was a failure.
I was one kill away when we got to the bridge in Operation Breakout
and the other team was never in the one building that I had just
enough time to run to before getting blown up for being out of
bounds, and there was no way I was going to shoot someone from across
the bridge. I ended up trying again, this time in hardcore FFA, and
that went much better. It took me two games (I joined the first game
late), but I managed to win the second game, which is rare.
And now I want to record my audio journal and go to bed. I open in
the morning, so I would like to get to bed before eleven o'clock,
which shouldn't be a problem because it's only just after ten o'clock
right now. But we'll see how distracted I get by other things.
