Last night I woke up up around four o'clock because my stomach hurt,
and I was up for about an hour. It's always a little troubling
because in the past that has been a symptom of a kidney stone. I
haven't had one in awhile but they are always present in my mind. It
didn't end up being a kidney stone, thankfully, and I think it was
probably related to my egg sandwich from Sonic being cooked on a meat
grill.
I had set my alarm clock for nine o'clock, and even though I ended up
getting less than six hours of sleep by that time, I got up anyway.
I then spent my morning watching videos and answering questions for
my new Match dating profile. I'm paying them to write it because I
think mine could be better and I very much dislike talking about
myself. I'm not great at self-promotion. So they sent me a bunch of
questions and I guess my answers are going to be turned into a
coherent profile. I'm intrigued and looking forward to seeing how it
turns out. I think I would be pretty good at that job, because I can
easily BS about other people. Especially if they have it set up like
a mad-lib, paint-by-numbers kind of thing.
After lunch I played CoD: WW2
and nothing really jumps out at me so I would say it was a fairly
average session. I almost took a nap but really just laid on my
couch for a little while before getting around to running on the
elliptical and taking a shower during the seven o'clock hour. I made
dinner after that, and along with the roasted vegetables I made
jasmine rice instead of brown rice. I had almost forgotten that rice
can taste good. I usually use brown rice because I've been told it's
healthier, but I find it boring, even when I add stuff to it to make
it taste better. The jasmine rice was a nice change.
I ate dinner around nine o'clock and
then played more CoD: WW2.
I ended with several games of Demolition so I could finish an order
and for all but the last game I had a kid on my team that was pretty
toxic. He spent every match calling out individuals on the team,
including myself (because I acknowledged him). He was a bit of
try-hard but not to the point of ever actually trying to plant or
defuse a bomb. I just kept giving him crap the whole time and it was
kind of funny. At least for me.
Now it is one o'clock in the morning
so I'm going to record my audio journal and go to bed. Tomorrow I
may do some things. We'll see.
