Today was fairly uneventful. I woke up before my alarm so I played
Staxel and watched videos before running on the elliptical,
getting ready, eating lunch, and heading to work.
The usual opening stuff happened and then I spent the first part of
my day updating my homebound spreadsheets with the books I am taking
out this month. The rest of my day was pretty much spent playing
with the tech page. I wanted to create a more interesting looking
button, so I wasted some time on that but was lacking the needed
software to create one. I eventually moved on to trying a couple
other things with the layout. I think the idea will be to come up
with at least a few different ideas and then getting the opinion of
others. I feel like I'm close to what I want but not quite there
yet.
Other than that stuff, I helped patrons with printing and copying,
finding books, and showed off some of our online resources. But that
was about it. As I said, an uneventful day.
When I got home I started my laundry and made another veggie
sandwich. I'm out of roasted red pepper but I still have hummus,
romaine lettuce, cucumbers, and sourdough bread, so I'll probably
keep making them.
With the rest of my night I started watching a Sips playthrough of
Subnautica. I've wanted the game for quite awhile now, and
I'll probably end up buying it sooner rather than later, but until
then, I'm enjoying watching other people play the game. Also, the
new Neebs Gaming video came out today, so I watched that as well.
While I watched that stuff, I played Staxel. I continued
farming and I also started remodeling my house. I moved out the
entryway to give me more room inside, and I also got the briefest of
starts on adding a second floor. I haven't decided where to put the
stairs yet. And it's taking forever because I have to keep up with
my crops at the same time. But the game is maintaining my interest,
so that's cool.
Now I'm going to record my audio journal and get the last of my
laundry out of the dryer so I can go to bed. We have a full day of
staff development tomorrow, which means I have to be at work by eight
o'clock, so that's going to suck, but it should be an interesting
day.
