October 30, 2014

It was another fairly quiet day in the lab so I was able to work on my annotated bibliographies. I've lost track but I think I finished three. I finished another one after dinner and I am now up to fourteen. I might try and do another one at work tomorrow just to top off at fifteen considering that was the upper limit. We'll see. I still need to do all the other work for this week. I also start working at the theater again tomorrow and the manager is kind of making it sound like there will be more work involved. If that turns out to be the case this might be my first and last weekend back for awhile because I can't really afford to work six days a week, one of those days being a double, while still doing decent work for grad school. Once again, we'll see.

I don't know the story but this morning in the gym one sixth grade “stabbed” another sixth grader multiple times with a pen. I put that in quotes because the kid on the receiving end ended up with several puncture wounds on him but it wasn't like an attempt on his life or anything. The kid with the pen is one of the kids who got suspended a few weeks ago for punching one of his other classmates. So he's definitely a kid you want to stay at least four feet away from at all times. And keep your eyes on his hands.

Tonight didn't have a visit with the new volunteer kid because I good get ahold of him. That seems to be the norm lately. Instead, I finished that fourteenth annotated bibliography, ate half a burrito, and watched the Neebs Gaming livestream. They had one last week to raise money so they could get faster internet so they could stream more. They raised enough money so it looks like maybe this will become a weekly thing, which is pretty great. I got my sister and brother to watch last week and tonight, so they're pretty lucky I'm their brother.

Tomorrow is going to suck. I want the extra money I'll be making by going back to the theater but I'm also not looking forward to working one job and then going to the next one. It looks like we have a late show so I could be there until one or two o'clock in the morning. Mucho sucko. But hopefully the changes at the theater don't involve more work for me so I can be productive with school things.
