Today was fairly boring. It was filled with reading. I finished reading the chapter for the class this weekend (but not the ridiculous one from the ethics book) and read one of the chapters for my research class. I will need to read the second one tomorrow maybe. I'll probably need to re-read them before I submit my discussion post this weekend but whatever.

Tonight I finally had a visit with the new volunteer kid. It has been at least a few weeks. It was slightly delayed because he had to drop his sister off at her choir concert, which I found out about on my way over there. I drove exactly the speed limit and then took a drive around town after I got there. Since I saw him last he got a different car and a new phone. His old one died, which explains why I haven't been able to get ahold of him. Nothing else has apparently changed in his life. It is still like pulling teeth trying to get a conversation going with him. Still managed a thirty minute visit so that's not bad.

We went to Sonic and I wanted to get a caramel brownie master blast. He misheard me however and I ended up getting a berry brownie master blast instead, which I didn't even realize was a thing. It was good but there were only a few brownie chunks on top, none mixed in, and they were pretty boring. There was also way too much ice cream. I got a small but I should have gotten a mini. Or none at all because I don't mind not eating ice cream.

When I got home from the visit I did a bit of school stuff. I compared my partner's slideshow with the example and ended up adding another slide to the end to match the example. Then I emailed that and the newspaper to the professor. They technically aren't due until the week after next I think so what I emailed can count as a draft in case my partner or I notice something wrong before now and then. I also emailed my partner to tell her about the changes. She apparently works on campus so she stopped by the professor's office today and got us put on the presentation schedule. He apparently never got my email so who knows if he'll get the one I sent tonight.

Tomorrow will be filled with more reading. I need to read the thirty librarian interviews my classmates posted and maybe read the second chapter for my research class. And maybe some other stuff. I really need to start reading articles for my other group project. That should probably happen tomorrow. But it probably won't because at some point I'll need to head out of town for class. I'm a little nervous for the presentations on Saturday.
