March 20, 2015

It is one o'clock in the morning. Way too late for my blood.

Last night I didn't get to sleep until sometime after three o'clock. I apparently missed my fall asleep window because when I went to bed it wasn't happening for me. I ended up having to read a book for quite awhile. Not that I'm against that because I've been working on this book for a really long time now. And it's a Book Fair book.

This morning I woke up before ten o'clock. I think. I'm pretty sure I remember seeing nine-something on my clock. Then I worked on school stuff. I don't think I did anything on my PowerPoint but I did work on my instructional handout. It went three versions. I started in Word but then thought I'd try an infographic. I played around with that for awhile but the saved output wasn't very high quality so it looked fuzzy when I imported it into Word and turned it into a PDF. So I moved on to Publisher and that's where I made my final product. I like the look of it. It could probably be better. And it's not due until Sunday so I might end up tweaking it some more. But I think it's a decent effort.

I finished the handout after dinner and took the rest of the night off. I watched some YouTube videos and streams while working on my own Twitch stuff. I made a notification overlay which turned out pretty cool, and I messed around with some other stuff. I also spent a good deal of time reinstalling Rainmeter on my PC and playing around with that. So far I have only installed an audio visualizer thing. And lastly, I made a couple wallpapers. A purple, honeycomb looking one for my left monitor and a green version for my right monitor. I'm kind of surprised with how good they turned out.

Now it is nearly two o'clock in the morning because I got a little distracted while writing this entry. I'm headed to bed and I hope I can actually fall asleep. I will probably try and sleep in. Sunday I'll set an alarm so I can wake up early and then be tired enough to get to bed at a decent time so I'll be somewhat rested for work on Monday. This break has flown by. I'm not a fan of that happening during “vacations”. Those quotes due to all the time I spent doing homework over break. Speaking of, I still need to read a couple chapters. Maybe tomorrow.
