Today was another day of testing and photo editing. Groundhog Day.
Everyone was doing Math, which goes a lot slower than Reading. It is
also harder to watch because it is a lot easier to see kids getting
the wrong answers.
I sent out an email today about yearbook pictures and it was the most
successful one so far. I got three cameras to get pictures off of
and a few different teachers put pictures in the folders on the share
drive. Looks like we'll actually have a yearbook with pictures in
it, not just words.
The weather was really nice today and I got to experience it briefly
when I went out to the playground to let one of the first grade
teachers know that testing was over for the morning and her class
could come to the lab. I probably got a nice five minutes of sun,
which is more than I usually get.
Tonight I watched livestreams and set up my microphone in case I go
the route of recording a presentation rather than writing a paper for
my metadata assignment. So once again not a really productive night.
Not surprising.
We don't have school tomorrow, it's a professional development day,
so my plan is to accomplish some things. I want to set my alarm and
wake up at a decent hour and knock out the research and outline for
my metadata assignment. I should also be able to write the paper or
make and record the presentation. I also need to start my project
for my other class which involves making an instructional
presentation and coming up with a handout that could be used for an
actual instructional session in a library. In theory I should be
able to do all of that and more tomorrow but I probably won't even
accomplish a fraction of it. Especially with that attitude.
