Not a lot going on today. A typical Sunday. And I feel like I say
that every Sunday. Which makes it typical, I guess. Anyway, I
watched a YouTube video or two but I spent most of the day watching
Netflix. I started with a documentary about surfing, which basically
told the history of surfing, starting at the beginning, and then
focusing on the different innovations in surfboard design. I have
always thought it would be fun to surf but I have also always thought
it wasn't for me. Maybe boogie boarding?
The next documentary I watched was on wingsuits. It started with the
history of man wanting to fly and then the innovations that lead to
the wingsuit and then the advancements that have been made. It would
be amazing to try out proximity flying, where you see how close you
can get to the surface of a cliff or the ground. I am also not dumb
enough to try it. And you do have to be dumb to try it. But it
would be amazing if you survived.
The rest of the day was spent watching Long Way Round,
a mini-series Ewan McGregor and his friend travel around the world on
motorcycles. Again, it is something that looks like it would be one
hell of a thing to try but something I would never try. Maybe on a
much smaller scale. I still have a couple episodes to go and then I
want to watch Long Way Down,
a mini-series where they travel from North Scotland to South Africa
on motorcycles.
And soon I will be going to bed, and
waking up to the start of another week of MAP testing. It's going to
be loads of fun and I can't wait.
