Last
night when I was standing near the entry way to Olympus Has Fallen
a woman left to go to the bathroom and when she came back she asked
if I needed a seat because there was one near her. I quickly
explained that I didn't need a seat and I actually worked at the
theater, and she went on her way. That is one problem with wearing a
fairly nondescript black polo shirt for a uniform. It was incredibly
nice of her though. It is nice to know that there are still good
people out there.
Today I
finished writing my letter to my friend, watched YouTube videos, and
downloaded other YouTube videos. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday.
So it wasn't very productive of me. I went to work tonight and
finished reading The Distance Between Us by Reyna Grande. It
turned out to be a really good book but it was also depressing and
uncomfortable to read at times. It is one of those books that makes
you glad with the cards you have been dealt in life, regardless of
how crappy, because there are always people out there who are far
worse off. Part of me wishes I had a more troubled life so I would
have more to write about but that is a very small part of me. A
very, very small part.
It had
started to snow this afternoon and it had continued to snow while I
was at work and into the night. Thankfully it didn't really start
sticking until later on so there was only about an inch on my car
when I got off and it didn't take much to scrape off the small amount
of ice. The manager was parked right next to me so I got his
windshield while I was at it. Do unto others, as they say. The
drive home was thankfully uneventful but I have always liked driving
home in the middle of the night when it is snowing. It is very
peaceful.
