 Today was pretty unproductive, but that's what I expected. I did my laundry throughout the day, which is always the main goal for the weekend, so I'm okay with it.

I set my alarm for nine o'clock this morning and when it went off, I got up, turned it off, and went back to bed until 10:45AM. It was nice.

I spent the day catching up on YouTube videos. I fell behind this week thanks to the rabbit hole of underground and indie rapper interviews I watched this week.

I finally got around to playing Superhot today. I have wanted it since it first came out but never bought it because I wasn't going to pay full price and whenever it went on sale it was either not tempting enough or I wasn't in the mood to play it. But then at some point it was available for free through Twitch, so I picked it up, and promptly forgot about it because I never think about the games I pick up for free from Twitch. It requires the Twitch launcher, it's not just a Steam key, which is part of the issue because if it's not in Steam than I forget about it. Like Origin or Uplay games. Today I remembered that Twitch games were a thing, though, and I installed Superhot. I ended up playing through the entire campaign, which I didn't mean to do, but it wasn't too long and it's one of those games that makes it way too easy to say “one more time,” kind of like the Trials games. Beating the game unlocks a couple other game modes, which I might try out at some point.

I played a little CoD: WW2 tonight and stuck mostly with hardcore game modes to get through contracts, and a little bit of regular Domination. I didn't do the shotgun contract so overall I did alright and had a good time. There was one game where the other team started spawn camping in the second half but I had managed to finish my contracts so I was able to leave after that game.

It's now after midnight because I got distracted by YouTube. I switched over to music so I could finish this. I'm listening to Lil Skies, who is one of the rappers I've stumbled across in the past week. Catchy stuff. But now I need to record my audio journal so I can go to bed. I don't work until noon but I've got a haircut at 10:00, so I have to get up a little bit earlier. I'm hoping the weather ignores the forecast tomorrow, which calls for rain overnight, then rain and snow, and then a snowstorm. I'm kind of over Winter.
