My lack of sleep the past couple of nights is catching up to me. I'm tired.

This morning I got up, did all the things, and went to work. My main goal for the day was to get my display done. And I accomplished that with flying colors. The hardest part was coming up with the sign. I progressed through eight different versions before getting the final sign. And the final sign is a winner. It's got sunflowers planted in a bag of flour with a picture of the Mayflower on the bag. I also hid a tiny white dog in the flower, just because. It's pretty great. And I was able to get books on flowers, flour, and the Mayflower, so mission accomplished.

This afternoon I had time off the desk so I was able to go pull all the books, take down the display that was on the card catalog, processed all of my books, and set up the display. There were three books missing from the previous display and I was able to track down one of them but the other two are still missing. I also pulled audiobooks because I have the new audiobook display this month. That is super easy but I have to use the catalog so I can find the new books to pull.

I did some other things throughout the day, but I pretty much spent all of my time coming up with book lists, pulling books, setting up displays, and making my sign. It was a productive day.

At five o'clock we had our mini-party because it was one of our coworkers birthdays. I brought my sister's snickerdoodles and one of the other librarians also brought some. Her's were soft though, whereas my sister's were crunchy, so they were each their own cookie.

Tonight was Chipotle night and right before I left work one of the other librarians texted me that Chipotle had been hacked and that her card number had been stolen. That's always great to hear right before you're going to use your card at a business. Although it's better than hearing it right after using your card. I guess it took place between March and April, so the news is a little delayed. Just to be safe though I stopped at the ATM and got cash. I haven't used an ATM in a long time. I want to say it's been nearly a decade at least. It was kind of strange.

It took me awhile to get a parking spot and then when I got in the building the line was ridiculous. It wrapped around the restaurant and then end was at the restrooms. It took me almost exactly half an hour to get my food. Turns out they were doing a teacher appreciation night so everyone and their mother was there. Not a great night if you're looking to get food fast.

The food was the same old thing, nothing special, but I had a chocolate covered strawberry and some of my Mom's chocolate chip cookies for dessert, so that was good. After we watched the YouTube videos I had we sat around and talked for awhile. I think I left around 8:45PM.

When I got home I put away all my dishes from last night's dinner. I wash the dishes after a meal but generally wait a day before putting them away because even though I dry them off after washing them, I want to make sure everything is fully dry before I put them away.

I watched some more YouTube videos after that and then started writing this. It has taken far too long and now I need to record my audio journal so I can go to bed. I need to spend more time in bed.
