It is late and today wasn't too eventful so hopefully this will be
short.
I was locked out of the lab again this morning. I guess that's just
a thing now. A very annoying thing.
The sixth graders had their MAP test this morning. They had a
substitute who cut them off at an hour and fifteen minutes and a lot
of them had yet to finish. At least one of them wasn't even halfway.
Tomorrow they will be taking their second test. Hopefully they
aren't cut off so soon. Thursday is the last day for testing and the
teacher scheduled a make-up/finish time for that day but there are
some kids who are going to need to come in on Wednesday and probably
for a marathon session on Thursday. The sixth grade teacher put off
at least one or two of his tests until the last day of the testing
window last year and got lucky that no one was sick. He's got some
really slow test takers this year so we may be pushing it.
The rest of the day was fairly normal with classes in the lab and
working on the bingo game for the resource teacher in my downtime.
If there was anything worth mentioning it isn't coming to mind now.
Tonight I went over to my grandma's to hang out with my sister and
dad while my dad worked on my grandma's car to make sure it will run
when she comes back into town. A little while after I showed up my
brother stopped by with his plumber friend to fix the kitchen sink
faucet. Both the car and the faucet are now good to go. My dad,
sister, and I took the car for a spin around town, with me behind the
wheel, to make sure the car was actually going to continue being good
to go. We drove all over the place for about a half an hour before
returning to the house so I could come write this.
And now I have done that so I am going to go back to the new house so
I can go to bed. Six o'clock is going to come way too early.
