Not a lot to write about today. It was 105 degrees outside. This
lead to it being 91 degrees on the cool side at work and at least 100
degrees on the hot side. And I think the air conditioner gave up
because it was just blowing air. Nowhere near cold air. I felt bad
for the tech guy who came to work on one of the projectors because
because it was at the very end of the hot end, next to the
uninsulated wall and drafty door. I gave up on putting trailers on
movies because I was sweating just standing in one spot. I was
barely keeping an equilibrium by sitting under the horrible excuse
for an air conditioner with a fan blowing on me.
While I sat there on the cusp, I worked on my cross stitch and
watched DVDs. I finished the second letter and got a good start on
the third. Progress. I had to give up on series seven on Doctor
Who because the DVDs kept
pausing randomly. I thought the sad part came at the end of the
series but it came in the middle and it was a little less sad with
all the random pauses. At first I thought it was the DVD player but
after that I was able to watch 21 Jump Street without
a problem. It could still be the DVDs but I haven't checked them yet
on my computer. I burned them back-to-back so there is a chance it
was something in the burning process or just two bad DVDs. Fingers
crossed on that.
For dinner tonight I had fake hot
dogs and fake tater tots (in the form of baked cauliflower, which
were better than the first time, maybe because I added in a bit of
dill). The rest of my night was spent watching New Girl,
looking around the internet, reading a bit of Under The
Dome, and texting with my
brother about guitars. I need to start playing again. And take up
the piano again. There are so many things on my list of things I
want to do. Very few of them will ever be accomplished because I am
too overwhelmed by the size of that list.
