More of the same at work today. I finished up the first letter on my
cross stitch and got a start on the second. Progress. I started
watching Fawlty Towers,
making it to the last disc, and it is just as funny as I remember.
John Cleese is great. I also spent a little more time reading,
knocking off a chapter in my friend's book and several in Under
The Dome because they are small.
I really haven't made much of a dent in that book yet but so many
people have died so far. The dome has just come down and no one
knows what it is yet, but people keep crashing into it and dying. I
want to get into the actual story but considering it is over 1000
pages, I think it will be awhile. I have no idea what page I'm on
because it is on the Kindle, but I am seven percent into it. And I
think it started on three percent. I'm getting there slowly. A
one-thousand page book is less intimidating on the Kindle but I would
like to see the progress that can only be seen with a real book.
Chipotle tonight was good. It was a
nice change from the veggie hot dogs I have been eating the past
couple of nights. Nothing against the hot dogs though because they
are delicious. Thank goodness MorningStar started making them again.
Another good thing is that the YouTube videos I showed after dinner
went over better than usual. My mom actually laughed at most of them
and didn't leave in the middle, which is a first.
I spent the rest of my night burning
DVDs, watching Duck Dynasty,
and not a whole lot else. Not too exciting. Tomorrow will probably
be a lot of the same. That is kind of how my summer is turning out.
I have to go in early again because of the kids show which sucks but
it will give me another nine hours to cross stitch and watch DVDs.
Maybe productive if I would start selling cross stitches, which I
should probably do, but I'm not sure what my output would be like
during the school year when I'm not stuck at the theater five days a
week. I'm still thinking about it.
