 This morning I slept in a little bit, did something I can't remember for a little while, then I got ready and ate lunch before going to work.

Today was a note-taking kind of day. And I didn't take notes. I feel like I spent a lot of my day working on tutorial stuff. It turns out I had two that I was supposed to be working on. But to be fair, I have also been working on an unrelated tutorial project. Soon I'll be able to just churn them out. Not yet though. They're still taking forever.

And the tutorial thing is really the only thing that is coming back to me. Definitely should have taken notes. I know I helped the occasional patron and filled displays. Same old stuff. I almost went to a meeting in place of my boss but then I ended up not having to. So that's not worth writing about.

The three teenage siblings who have been in the library every night until close for weeks, often being loud and disruptive, were finally talked to today. They didn't come in before my boss left but she told me to call her if they did. And fifteen minutes after she left they showed up. I guess yesterday the behavior reached a breaking point when one of them got into an argument with a group of teen girls and they were asked to leave the library for the day. They were alright the rest of the night after they were talked to and hopefully it will continue. I'm not going to hold my breath but we'll see.

Tonight was more tutorial stuff. I also got to know the new assistant a little better and talked to the tech center guy. It was a pretty quiet night.

When I got home I watched a few YouTube videos and then a livestream for awhile. It has taken me forever to write this due to forgetting most of what happened today. August is over, which is ridiculous because it feels like it just started, and it has not been a great month for journal writing. I think I usually average at least thirty pages a month and this month I haven't even finished twenty-six. I'm not sure what's up with that. I think part of it might be trying to write while watching videos or livestreams. And waiting until it is late at night. I'll try and do better next month.
