 Today was a good day. I woke up early, which kind of sucked, but that just meant my day was longer. I made scrambled eggs for breakfast but I didn't have any milk. So I ate like a commoner. Discovering how good scrambled eggs are when they're made with milk really raised the bar and plain eggs aren't bad but they don't even compare.

I watched the third “season” of Black Lagoon. I think it was more of an off-shoot, mini-series than a full season, but it was good. It also wasn't nearly as tragic as the second season, which is always good.

I took a deep dive into Stardew Valley. I don't know how quickly it is supposed to progress but I feel like I'm not making money fast enough. I think I need to invest more in planting crops because that is at least guaranteed income. As long as the seasons don't change and I lose it all. I can see that I made a good call in not playing it while I was still in school because it is one of those games that make it real easy to do just one more thing. And then one more thing. And then one more thing.

I brought out my guitar and played that for quite awhile today. I messed around for awhile with learning new songs but I didn't have anything in particular in mind so I ended up just playing random stuff to work on my fingertips, and relearning a couple songs. Muscle memory is a great thing, and I found that I did better at remembering something when I just went for it and played fast.

I was going to make cornbread today but I got distracted by the game and by the time I took a shower I just wanted to eat, not wait another hour. Maybe tomorrow. But probably not because I need to roast vegetables, which I think I have. So maybe cornbread on Tuesday. We'll see.

I watched the new Power Rangers movie tonight and I liked it. I was worried that it would be too cheesy or too serious, and it was neither. I think there was just the right amount of both. There could have been more comedy but there was quite a bit so I can't complain. The blue ranger was my favorite when it came to comedic relief and the pink ranger was my favorite when it came to zords because she had a very nimble and sturdy jet. I think my only real issue with the movie, if I had to pick something, would be the amount of destruction to the town. It would take forever to fix everything that was destroyed, especially all the roads. I also didn't like how the minivan was never mentioned. And that there wasn't a bull and skull. But maybe in the next one.

Now I'm watching a livestream but I am going to put a hold on that so I can record my audio journal. Then I might play a game. Unless it takes me forever to do the audio journal. Then I'll just go to bed.
