 This morning their were two of us opening and the assistant beat me to work so there wasn't a lot for me to do for the hour before we opened. On the weekend two people open and we have thirty minutes to get everything done. During the week there is usually only one opener and we get an hour, which is usually way too much time. So yeah, I had a lot of time to fill. And I can't remember what I did, other than turning on a few computers downstairs and turning in a lost flash drive. I found the flash drive still plugged into a computer and interestingly, someone came in later in the day asking about a flash drive they had left. And I say interestingly, because some time after that the flash drive was found, once again left in a computer. So they forgot it, came back for it, and then left it again. They should probably consider tethering it to their wrist.

I finished the outline and handout for my first class and pretty much finished the outline and handout for the second class. Progress. I also came up with an idea for my second September display. I got creative with the first one, going with Witty & Whimsical, so I kind of just phoned it in with the second one, going with Autumnal Favorites. Not original but I've got a lot on my plate at the moment so I'm okay with not being original all of the time. The only change I may make is with the title, possibly changing the second word to create some alliteration.

I ran into my ex-girlfriend's mom today. She was at the library for the meeting. It is the first time I have seen her in eight or nine years and it was surprisingly less awkward than I would have imagined. The only awkwardness was really what I would associate with talking to a stranger, because I'm not really great with smalltalk.

Other things happened today but none of them are coming to mind. I was mainly just focused on making progress on my To-Do list.

I need to work on my post-work motivation so I can make my evenings more productive. Tonight I read a little bit, watched YouTube videos, practiced my handwriting, and right now I'm watching Deep Impact. It was on when I came home for lunch so I recorded it. I missed however much of the beginning but I got about two hours (with commercials), so that's not bad. The commercials are, however. Having not really watched much TV in quite awhile, I had almost forgotten how much commercials suck. I think each commercial break during this movie has been over six minutes long. That's just absurd.

Now I'm going to finish the movie and then go to bed. I'm looking forward to bed.
