Not a lot going on today. I spent more time looking at possible new phone options. I think I may be able to buy a cheap pre-paid phone but put my SIM card in it and use it on my current plan. I'm also thinking about the possibility of getting one of the cheap Chinese clone phones that look like the expensive ones but cost around $150 rather than $400-$600. As long as it can handle the occasional phone call and text message, and take a decent picture, that's all I care about.

I did end up buying the TV I have been looking at. It dropped down $30, which is good considering it is pretty new, and I figured Amazon's return policy is a lot easier than anywhere else I would get it, so I went for it. Hopefully it's not a lemon because it would be kind of a pain in the butt to box it back up and send it back.

I made some progress on my cross stitch. I finished the last word and moved onto the body. The head was easy but then I made the ballsy move of doing an outline of the body, using only half of the cross stitch. That makes it really hard to keep track of where the squares will be, and I knew it would be unforgiving if I made a mistake and didn't catch it in time, but I thought it would be nice not having to constantly check my pattern if I had the outline. Well, One of the legs came out looking kind of skinny but rather than take the time to count squares, I kept going, and counted when I was done with the whole outline. And That is when I confirmed my mistake around the leg, which was about halfway back through the outline, and it couldn't be fixed by just adding a stitch here and there, so I had to tear out half of my progress. That sucked some balls but I knew it was a risk when I started. I should be able to finish it tomorrow, maybe.
