To make up for yesterday's massive entry, this one will be quite a
bit shorter. I went and rented the first season of Battlestar
Galactica from the local rental
place and the second season from Hastings. I had a bunch of credit
at Hastings from returning previous rentals early so I got the second
season for free. Not bad. I like free.
At work I continued working on my
cross stitch, finished David Tennant's run of the Doctor, and started
watching the first episode of Battlestar Galactica
with the commentary. I made a decent amount of progress on my cross
stitch. I'd say I'm about a quarter of the way done with the first
letter. As for Tennant, his last episode is still incredibly sad. I
had to take a couple breaks just so I wouldn't start crying like an
idiot at work. I couldn't prevent the slight misty eyes. When I
finished that I went down and watched an hour or so of The
Heat to cleanse my palate. And
it worked because Melissa McCarthy is hilarious. At some point I
need to watch the whole movie. At the end of the night I watched all
but the very beginning of White House Down.
I hadn't seen a single trailer for it but it was actually a pretty
decent movie. A good popcorn action movie with a lot of comedy mixed
in. I like action movies that don't take themselves too seriously
and throw in some comedy.
And that was my day. Renting stuff
and working. I have no idea what is on the agenda for tomorrow.
Probably not a whole lot.
