Today at work I spent almost the entire time watching Doctor Who and starting a cross stitch of a Dalek. I thought it was appropriate. I finished the top part but ran out of time for the bottom. Which is good because it looks a little weird in the pattern I found and I want to mess around with it a bit and see if I can make it look better. Tomorrow I want to go to Hobby Lobby before work and get more string colors. I found some cool pixel art people and I wanted to start those today but I didn't have nearly enough colors. So that is my goal for tomorrow. I also need to get a bigger piece of cloth for my sister's name. Add that to the goal list.

I just noticed a random cut on the back of my middle finger. No idea on that one.

After work I ate the second half of my Chipotle burrito and then went to hang out with the new volunteer kid. He said he had a good past week because he got to spend five days of it with his friend in town. They spent most of their time swimming and playing video games. Not at the same time of course. We went to Sonic and he hadn't eaten dinner yet so he got some food. I have a bad history with kids eating Sonic burgers in my car. The first volunteer kid spilled fries all the time and onions under his seat. The worst being the ketchup and mayonnaise combo that ended up on the seat belt. The new volunteer kid spilled some crumbs and then an onion under his seat before I pulled out the blanket for him to eat over. Luckily I was able to find the onion but I'm worried about any smelly residue that may have gotten on the carpet. Or more onions that I didn't see fall. Kids are messy and onions are smelly.

I continued my tradition of getting different flavors in my cherry limeades and tonight I got a blackberry cherry limeade. It was really freaking good. I think it may become my new go-to drink at Sonic. I am hoping that it wasn't just a fluke. I'll have to get it a few more times to make sure. I'm tempted to stop the experimenting with flavors but we'll see how I'm feeling next week.

When I got home I watched an episode of Battlestar Galactica and then headed over to my dad's. My sister was able to finish her Father's Day present for him so she texted me to say she was going to go give it to him. We sat out on the back porch for awhile with my dad, uncle, and step-mom, talking about random stuff. It felt really nice to just sit there in the semi-darkness with a nice breeze.

After about half an hour I had to head out to go see This Is The End with my friend, her boyfriend, and her sister (kind of, because she sat in the back of the theater while the rest of us did not). The movie was pretty good. I wouldn't say it was great because there were so many things thrown together but it was really funny and inappropriate at times and I liked it. Michael Cera was briefly funny in the beginning and the ending was entirely epic. I would definitely watch it again.

Now, as per usual, I am going to go to bed. It is late and I want to get up early enough so I can do stuff before I go to work. I have faith in myself.
