 This morning I woke up around nine o'clock and then spent the rest of the morning reading books in bed. It would be nice if I could do that every day.

After lunch I watched YouTube videos for awhile and then finally got around to taking down my Christmas stuff. I don't know how long it took but I packed up all the ornaments, my tree, the Christmas houses, train set, and everything on the mantel. I took all of it downstairs, moved the table the tree was on back into my office, and set up the round table I used to do my ironing on. For the time being I have it set up outside my kitchen. Eventually I would like to get a rectangular table to sit there, possibly swapping out one of my desk tables if I get a longer desk.

The library ended up being closed today but I don't think the weather was half as bad as predicted. It looked like there was a thin layer of ice on everything and I think it may have rained a bit off and on throughout the day. It seemed like it ended up just being a wet day rather than an icy day, but it was projected to be bad throughout the entire day so I understand why the library was closed. It looks like there may be more coming so we'll see.

I played Mandagon because I was interested in it for a possible video game discussion. It took maybe forty-five minutes to beat and I'm not sure that it has enough content. There are little bits of text throughout that hint at what is happening but I'm not sure if that is enough. Forty-five minutes isn't bad for the time frame of the discussion but that would leave a lot of actual discussion time to fill. It might be good if I could find a game with a similar theme so we could play parts of both. I don't know, I still need to think about it.

Along with the pizza I was going to have potato soup for dinner because I have two different bags of potato soup mix. Unfortunately, both of them have natural chicken flavor in them. It's pretty far down the ingredients list, and the odds are good I've eaten it before, but I don't plan on knowingly eating it. So it looks like if I want to eat potato soup I'll need to make it myself. Instead I just had pizza, which was still delicious.

I watched The Revenant tonight because of watching part of Jeremiah Johnson the other day and this morning I read a story about Daniel Boone, which got me in an old-timey kind of mood. It was a brutal movie, just one thing after another. Very intense. I liked it but I don't know that I will watch it again any time soon. Now I just need to watch Jeremiah Johnson all the way through again.

Following the movie I started watching the first season of Beyond. It's got me intrigued. I think I like it but I'm not entirely sure yet. It will really depend on the mystery. I do like that it is more face-paced than The OA.

Now I'm going to record my audio journal and play Farming Simulator 15. I think it was yesterday that I bought another field, bringing me up to five. Today I got caught up waiting on my sower so I bought a second one. I wanted to get one of the big ones that are a sower and a cultivator at the same time but it requires a tractor that costs over $200k, so that's going to have to wait. Anyway, I'm going to stop writing this so I can record my audio journal and go to bed.
