I managed to sleep through my morning so I didn't get any work done
before lunch. This afternoon I was able to finish my website and get
it uploaded to my school drive. I also ran accessibility tests and
changed a few things to make everything kosher. The only warning
left is for a link to a PDF, but I explicitly stated it is a PDF link
so that makes it good. It also works out pretty well with a
screenreader. The only thing that annoys me now is that the YouTube
video is a little wide for a phone screen in portrait mode. There is
a way to fix it with CSS, which we will add into our websites after
this, so I will be able to fix it in the near future. Although the
site technically is live now I didn't actually submit the link to the
discussion thread so I can look things over one more time. But that
was my afternoon.
After dinner I could have read stuff but I had a headache and needed
a break. So I watched the Doraleous livestream until Bethesda's E3
showcase livestream started. I'm not really interested in Battlecry
because it looks like TF2, which I've never gotten into,
or the card game, because I've never gotten into card games. I do
want to play the new Doom, Dishonored 2 (although I
never played the first one), and of course Fallout 4, which
looks like it will suck people in for years. That is a series that I
have always liked but only briefly dabbled in because it is such a
time-sink. Hopefully sometime in my near future I will be free of
homework and have copious amounts of free time to play video games
after work. Once again I would like the ability to live multiple
lives. One of them would be a normal boring one, one would be spent
as a monk on some remote mountaintop, and one would be devoted to
playing all the video games I want to play but always feel bad about
wasting time on.
Tomorrow I need to submit my website and read a bunch. And write my
reflective journals for my management class. I think those need to
be done by Friday. So those are my goals. I need to accomplish at
least some of those things.
