I slept through a good chunk of the day again. I'm generally sleep
about seven hours a night but recently that has jumped up to around
nine hours. That just seems a bit crazy. I don't know if it is
because I have started running on the elliptical everyday or if it is
related to the late nights I have been having. Either way, it's kind
of annoying. I think tomorrow I'm going to set an alarm and try my
best not to ignore it.
Before lunch I managed to finish the article I started yesterday.
After lunch I worked on my website. I wrote the entry for learning
to ride a bike and got it put into the code with all the appropriate
links and whatnot. That leaves two more entries, which I hope to
finish tomorrow. I might actually start one of them after I finish
writing this. But probably not because it will be even later than it
already is.
I avoided watching streams during the day so I could focus on reading
and working on my website. Tonight I made up for that by watching
the Neebs stream along with two of the guys I've been watching play
ARK. I jumped into the game for a little bit today, mainly
just to mess with my settings. I had to restart because when the
game crashed last time I probably ended up just passing out on the
beach. Thankfully I didn't really having anything on me after
fifteen minutes of playing. Today I stuck around long enough to find
a quite place and I built a small thatch house with a sleeping bag,
so hopefully if my character randomly dies in my passed out sleep I
can at least respawn at the sleeping bag and not have to randomly
spawn on a beach somewhere. I'm on a PvE server so I shouldn't have
to worry about other players killing me, and my ultimate goal is to
find a secluded place to build a cool house. While watching streams
I have seen some cool places but I don't really have any idea where
they actually are, so I'm going to just keep wandering around until I
find a place that looks neat and doesn't have any other players
nearby. That is kind of hard at this point with so many people
playing the game but it's worth a shot.
And now it is after one o'clock so I'm probably not going to try and
write that website entry. Tomorrow is the day for all of that. I'm
going to wake up semi-early, probably still groggy, and get stuff
done. Fingers crossed.
