For weeks I have known about my haircut today, including most of yesterday. Yet when I set my alarm clock and went to bed, the only thought in my mind was waking up for work. At 2:36AM I woke up and immediately remembered my haircut and bumped my alarm clock back an hour. I ended up waking up before my alarm clock so I would have been good but who's to say if I would have remembered in the morning, even with the note on my keyboard.

At work today I spent a lot of my time working on my left-handed penmanship. I started working my way through the alphabet, making it up to 'm', basing my letter style on Courier New, and moving on to the next letter when I felt comfortable with the current letter. So far, I think 'a' was the trickiest. It is hard to make a lowercase 'a' (that looks like that and not a circle with a line on the side) and make it look decent. I got kind of close.

When I wasn't writing, I read a few short stories and a chapter in the Stephen King book. I want to read all the books but I also want to get badass at writing with my left hand. And I also need to start cross stitching. It is almost July and I still only have part of a Snitch. Not acceptable.

Tonight I watched World Cup games and did things on the computer. I want Mexico to stay in for awhile just so I can watch their coach. He is so animated. Today they were playing Croatia and they scored three goals in fairly quick succession. After the second goal they cut to the coach who had one of his players on the ground. It looked like in his excitement he tackled one of his players. After another goal the goalkeeper jumped into the coach's arms. We have reached the phase where they are playing four games a day, two at a time. The two at a time thing I believe is because the outcome of one game could change the performance of the teams in the other game. So maybe one team will get an automatic pass and win their group if a team in the other game gets beat by so many goals. So yeah. I forgot to record the Netherlands game because I was still in the mode of three games a day. Thankfully I don't like the Netherlands and they showed the match highlights after the game I was watching. I later picked the Brazil game over the Mexico game but then went back and watched the last half of the second half of the Mexico game so I could see all the goals.

At this point I feel like I am forgetting something but it is also almost 1:00AM so I am going to not worry about whatever I may have forgotten.
