Not a lot to say
about today, other than the fact that it is currently 1:30AM and I
rarely have much to say at 1:30AM.
My day before work
was spent watching a World Cup match and YouTube videos, while
reading library and grad school stuff. I also took a nap. I slept a
whole bunch last night and I think my nap was a consequence of
oversleep making me tired. I'm a fan of naps so I didn't mind.
At work tonight I
read from books and played Ocarina Of Time
on my 3DS for the first time since December apparently. I didn't
think it had been that long. I was a little lost when I got back
into it, I think I stopped right after I made it to the adult version
of Link. Tonight I didn't accomplish anything toward the main
storyline but I did gain access to Epona and that has made my trips
across Hyrule go much faster.
I
also watched chunks of 22 Jump Street
during the last two sets. That was mostly due to an effort to escape
the heat of the projection area. Summer is officially upon us and
one sure sign of that is the broken air conditioning on one side
upstairs. Overall there is no real insulation so the air
conditioning on the other side isn't enough to compensate, or even
keep up with the side it is on. I'm back to sitting directly under a
vent with a small desk fan in my face. Outside of those cones of
moving air there is just a stagnant heat. The thermostat said 88
degrees on the air conditioned side and it was obviously warmer than
that on the other side. It's lovely.
At
the moment I am watching soccer, France v. Switzerland. France are
currently ahead by two and it should have been three but they missed
a penalty shot. I'm almost through with the first half and I think
I'm going to call it a night when I make it to halftime.
