 The first day of the new year so I obviously started this entry off by typing 2015 instead of 2016. I can't remember how long it took me to get the hang of it last year but I want to say it was at least all of January.

This morning I woke up at eight o'clock again but this time I stayed in bed and listened to the music of my alarm clock (actual music because it is set to the radio, I'm not saying the sound of an alarm clock is music). That eventually led to more sleep because I was already in bed so why not. My half-awake state resulted in a really cool video game idea that I wrote down. I'm going to read through it again tomorrow to see if it still makes sense. It would be really nice if I could make complex video games.

I sewed a practice coaster today. Full-size unlike my last practice one. I need a better system for making the quilted lines because it is really hard to keep the spacing even. I ended up turning it into a square spiral pattern instead. It is certainly not pretty but it is functional because I am using it right now for my water bottle. I think it will look better when I use nicer looking fabric and white thread instead of black. I also need to figure out the fourth side that is sewn closed after turning the thing inside out (or right side out?). It still kind of looks like crap but I've got ideas.

I played more Tera today. My latest friend was on but they are already level 65 and I don't have access to any dungeons yet that go up to 65. So that's not looking good. I found another mount, however, a raptor, that can be unlocked by going to all the towns in the game and looking at several monuments. I've already visited most of the towns so I just need to finish those out and get the monuments and I should get the mount. I'm not giving up on the wolf yet but the raptor would be pretty cool. There is also a black panther mount that is now available but that looks like it requires a lot of in-game time running different quests to build up reputation. So now my goal is the raptor.

Tonight I went over to my friend's Dad's house because my friend is in town. We watched a couple episodes of Master Of None, which is Aziz Ansari's new show on Netflix. It is awkward but also good at the same time. I'll need to watch the rest of it. After the first episode my friend's girlfriend went to bed and the rest of us sat and talked. After the second episode my friend's Dad and step-mom went to bed and my friend and I sat and talked until midnight. It has been a really long time since I've seen him so I'm glad we got to hang out a little bit before he left tomorrow.

Tomorrow I plan on taking the Christmas lights down because it is supposed to be decent outside. Other than that, who knows. Probably reading and video games and sewing and movies. I'm okay with that.
