This morning I woke up early in an attempt to reset my sleep schedule. The idea being that I would be tired and go to bed earlier tonight. It is now one o'clock in the morning. So that didn't quite work out.

I didn't really do much of anything today. I watched movies, played Tera, and thought about sewing. I didn't actually sew, for some reason, but I did think about it. I was going to go to Jo-Ann's and get some sewing-related things but I lost track of time and it was almost 5:30PM when I was ready to leave the house and then I learned they were closing at six o'clock. I planned on being back by six o'clock anyway but I planned on browsing a little and I didn't want to be one of those people who are there until closing time. Instead I just looked at stuff on their website.

I watched The Martian today and I really liked it. I would definitely watch it again. The best lines in the movie were “Fuck you, Mars” and “I'm going to science the shit out of it.” I obviously am not a good judge of the science of the movie but it did seem like it included a lot of accurate stuff. Or at least stuff that was passably scientific looking. The only thing that stood out to me, and kind of bugged me, was when the one astronaut was outside the ship and he wasn't tethered to it in any way. A couple months ago I watched the space walk on the ISS and they were tethered the whole time. And that just makes sense because one false move and you're floating off into space. Other than that, though, I liked the movie. It made me want to watch Interstellar, which I might need to do in the near future.

In Tera I made it to level 60 and overall made a lot of progress today. That should be high enough to get into dungeons with my latest friend so hopefully this weekend sometime we'll both be on at the same time and they'll be willing to party up. The wolf mount is back within my grasp.

Tonight at midnight the calendar flipped over to 2016. That seems ridiculous. But it's true. I rang in the New Year watching a crappy movie about kids from space turning into monsters or something. It was a movie filled with child actors and they were trying to play it way too serious. It wasn't good. I also shot off some fireworks in Tera. Finally putting the random firework drops from the tiny Santas to good use.

Tomorrow, who knows. I think a friend will be in town at some point, so we might hang out. I want to sew, sooo hopefully that happens.
