 This morning I woke up early so I could go to my dentist appointment. The regular dental hygienist I have seen for the last few years was out on maternity leave so I had a new one today. She was maybe five feet tall, which is important to note because it meant she had tiny, unobtrusive hands. Something I think is important when someone is putting their hands in your mouth. As expected, and always hoped, my teeth got rave reviews, so that was nice.

Work was pretty uneventful. The sleeper wasn't there today, which was nice because it meant I didn't have to talk to him. I worked on my homebound stuff today but didn't really get very far. I did at least put a few books on hold so hopefully I won't have to find more books when I get around to pulling them. It seems like the last couple have months have included a lot of having to go back and find more books because the ones on my list were already checked out. We'll see if the hold thing helps me out.

My mom stopped by to finally pick up her summer reading stuff. I think showing her the mug yesterday was the incentive she needed. She also got to meet a couple of my coworkers, including the teen librarian, who shot a rubber band at me and almost hit me in the face. The library can be a dangerous place.

And other than helping patrons and talking to my coworkers, that was pretty much my day. Again with the caveat that I have probably forgotten stuff.

On my way home I went to Target to restock my lunch supplies. And when I got home I clicked around the internet, watched some YouTube videos, and now I'm watching a livestream. I like watching Playerunknown's Battlegrounds but it is definitely not the type of game I would enjoy playing. I think it would be fun to mess around with friends but I don't have friends who play games, and I'm just not good at gun games. I would spend so much time waiting for a game to start and then instantly get killed. I would rather watch people who are actually good at the game.

It is now after one o'clock in the morning and I need to record my audio journal and go to bed. Thanks to my Target run tonight I have no reason to leave the house tomorrow. I'm going to play some VR and read some graphic novels.
