I slept in this morning and then eventually got up. Because that's
generally what happens after one wakes up. With the rest of the
morning I watched YouTube videos and Power Rangers and maybe
did some other things. Then I took a shower, ate lunch, and loaded
up my car like I was moving back home.
After my car was unloaded and my laundry was started, I finally got
around to doing my taxes. I feel like it took longer than it should
but I was also doing laundry at the same time. I also had to figure
out the whole house thing which was a change from last year. It
really wasn't that much harder but I had two mortgage lenders,
because the bank I went through transferred it after the first
payment I think. I was unsure of the first account number and then
dove deep into over thinking it. But I got it done and I'll be
getting a decent return, so hooray for that.
I finished my taxes around 5:30PM and then fed the dogs and watched
YouTube videos while I waited for my laundry to finish. Around seven
o'clock I went to get dinner. I am trying to eat a little healthier
so I went with Jimmy John's. Maybe not entirely healthy but better
than Sonic.
I ate dinner at my house and started watching Hacksaw Ridge, a
movie I have wanted to see since the first trailer came out. It was
a very intense movie. It didn't try to romanticize war, which I
appreciated. It showed how graphic and devastating war is. I
appreciated that. And it was a good movie. I enjoyed it.
I paused the movie around ten o'clock so I could go to the grocery
store. I stocked up on vegetables, brown rice, and some other stuff,
including cornmeal because I want to try cornmeal pancakes. The kid
in front of me at the register was riding a hoverboard, or whatever
those two-wheeled balance things are. Interesting character.
When I got back to my house I unloaded my groceries, recorded my
audio journal, and then finished watching Hacksaw Ridge while
my video uploaded. And then I headed back to my Mom's house. I
watched a few YouTube videos while also watching the end of The
Breakfast Club and now Sixteen Candles is on. But I'm
going to go to bed because it is one o'clock in the morning.
