Today I slept in later than I thought I would but I'm okay with that.
Then I took a nap later in the afternoon. Apparently I needed some
extra sleep.
I read until it was time for lunch, then ate lunch and read some
more. My day was basically filled with sleep, reading, YouTube,
video games, laundry, and movies. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.
But also not a lot to write about. Tonight I got around to playing
more Battlefield 1. I completed the third storyline, leaving
three to go. This one involved flying, which was cool, but also
annoying because the flight controls were limited. It's like when
there's an easy mode that kind of assists you and doesn't let you go
too crazy, and then a more realistic mode that lets you do whatever
you want, like barrel rolls. I've heard it's less restrictive in
multiplayer but in the campaign you can't do a barrel roll and it
takes a hell of a lot of mouse movement just to turn the plane
around. I do not have the real estate required for that much
movement. So that was frustrating but I still enjoyed the storyline.
The game still looks incredible, as well, easily making trench
warfare look very real and terrifying. I am thankful this is not a
VR game.
I just finished watching Lights Out, which was a pretty scary
movie. The overall concept was interesting but I particularly liked
how the scary lady worked. It was kind of like the weeping angels in
Doctor Who.
Right now I am watching the Warcraft movie. I don't know how
well it did in theaters but so far I am liking it. The special
effects are pretty cool and I like the little bits of humor sprinkled
throughout. I'd watch a sequel if they make one, but hopefully it
won't be a direct-to-DVD kind, because then I probably would not
watch it.
Tomorrow I suspect there will be much of the same and I am totally
okay with that.
