This morning I slept in a little later than I would have liked but my
bed was so comfortable and I wanted to take advantage of the
opportunity to just lay there. And, I still got in some reading
before lunch. I continued reading Shade of Grey and I started
reading Batavia's Graveyard: The True Story of the Mad Heretic who
Led History's Bloodiest Mutiny by Mike Dash, which is one of the
books that is going to be weeded. I've only made it through the
prologue and the first chapter but I'm hooked. It's definitely a
book right up my alley.
This afternoon I read more, did laundry, watched YouTube videos, and
read about house stuff. I also probably did some other things but
nothing is coming to mind. Tonight I eventually got around to
playing Just Cause 3. I think there is something more I need
to do to advance the story but I don't know what it is. When I first
load the game something is said but I am never paying attention and I
can't find any mention of it in the menus. So instead I just run
around and liberate towns. I also flew a plane for the first time
tonight and that was a lot of fun. Out of everything in the game
that I have driven or flown so far it easily handles the best. I'm
getting better at driving the other vehicles but they are still a
disappointment to drive. The plane however, at least the one I flew,
was actually fun.
Monday is my grandma's birthday so tomorrow we are driving down to
see her again. I'm not looking forward to the drive because there
goes another weekend day to driving, but I am glad I will get to see
my grandma. It was nicer when I could just drive a few minutes
across town to see her but I'll survive.
And this has been a short entry but I had a pretty simple day and I'm
not in a very talkative mood. Maybe I'll have more to write about
tomorrow.
