For no particular reason other than I could, I slept in until 11:30AM
today. I woke up around eight o'clock, went back to bed, woke up
around ten o'clock, went back to bed, and then finally got up at
11:30AM, mostly because I was hungry.
I thought I might do something productive with my day but never
really got around to it. I added a couple more inches to my sister's
dishcloth, so there's that. Kind of productive.
All but one of my textbooks arrived today so I started looking
through those, reading prefaces and introductions. I might dig
further into those tomorrow. Thankfully they look somewhat
interesting. Probably more so when I'm required to read them for
class.
Throughout the day I watched a lot of YouTube videos, eventually
catching up on my Watch Later list and then with all the random ones
I got sidetracked with. Then I listened to music before switching
over to Netflix tonight. I can't explain why but apparently I was in
a strange mood because I ended up watching Tinker Bell,
Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure,
and The Pirate Fairy.
The last is the latest Tinker Bell movie and features Tom Hiddleston
as a young Captain Hook. That one was particularly interesting
because it kind of showed Captain Hook's origins. And the origin of
the crocodile. There are at least two other Tinker Bell movies on
Netflix so I might need to watch those at some point. At the moment
I am watching an episode of Strawberry Shortcake's Berry
Bitty Adventures because it was
suggested after the last Tinker Bell movie. My Netflix history this
even really makes no sense considering my age, gender, relationship
status, and lack of children, but I was in the mood for cartoons and
apparently ones meant for a demographic I most certainly don't belong
to.
It's a half past midnight at the
moment and despite my late rise this morning the yawns are starting
to come pretty frequently. I think I'm going to call it a night. I
imagine it is one of those nights where I feel tired but as soon as I
lay down I'm going to be wide awake. My plan is to lay down and then
read from one of my textbooks for awhile. Hopefully that works out.
Tomorrow morning I plan on waking up
early so I can go get my new lenses in my glasses. It is nice to
have an excuse to get up early because I want to make tomorrow the
first day of getting back to my school sleep schedule. In bed by ten
or eleven o'clock and up around six o'clock. I imagine tomorrow
morning will suck, and possibly a lot of tomorrow if I manage to
avoid a nap. But I might as well get used to it.
