 I said I was going to go to bed last night but I ended up going back down to the basement and used the carpet cleaner until four o'clock in the morning, sucking more water out of the carpet.

I woke up this morning a little before eleven o'clock and went back to the basement. I used the carpet cleaner and listened to an audiobook. The audiobook thing really wasn't successful because there was just too much noise. A little while later my Mom came over with a box fan to help with the drying process. Throughout the day I continued to go down there, move the fans, and use the carpet cleaner. I think I've gotten to the point where there is nothing left that can be sucked out of the carpet. It is still wet though so the fans continue to blow. Tomorrow I'll call the insurance company and we'll see what happens next.

For dinner I roasted Brussels sprouts, cauliflower, and broccoli. I also made stir fry sauce and mixed that in with brown rice. And I made some eggs, because why not. While I ate dinner I watched The Circle, which is basically showing us the future of Google and Facebook. Or maybe it's the present. Sometimes it is hard to tell.

I didn't really accomplish much today. Except may the nap I took this afternoon. I feel pretty good about that. I really didn't have any motivation to do anything today. The events of last night kind of wiped me out.

I have discovered a new favorite game thanks to the dating app. It involves trying to figure out which girl made the profile. So many girls put up group pictures, so you have to try and pick out who is in all of them. Some of them can be pretty tricky. The goal is to figure it out before getting to an individual picture.
