I set my alarm for nine o'clock this morning, it went off, and I
ended up going back to sleep until ten o'clock. I guess I needed
nine hours of sleep.
At work today I did things, as always, and I didn't take notes
because I felt pretty certain I didn't need to. As always. But now,
who knows what I did throughout the day.
I caught up on stat stuff for the different email things we send out.
That much I remember. There's no way that took me four hours
though. I sent some emails. Wrote numbers on some prize tickets.
And most certainly did more things that I am forgetting.
When I got back from dinner I watched two hundred recordings of
people using our website. I am now caught up with June and July and
I started the recordings for August. The goal is to actually watch
the August recordings in August.
With the little bit of time I had left I wrote numbers on more prize
tickets. Minus the ones that were put in jars today, I only have one
more stack to write numbers on. It's a decent sized stack but
shouldn't take too long.
After work I stopped by my Mom's house because my Amazon stuff
arrived today. When I got home I set up my new monitor. First
impressions are it has a good size (27”), there aren't any dead
pixels, and I think it is going to suit my needs. I also got a new
mouse, which I like. It is nearly a clone of my current mouse on my
old desktop but about half the price. We'll see how I feel about it
when I actually have some time to use it.
I watched a TimTheTatman livestream tonight and he was playing Are
You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?
And it was hilarious. That is a major reason why it is creeping ever
closer to midnight and I am still writing this. The other reason
being I can't remember what I did at work today. I'm going to have
to go back at some point and rewatch the whole stream because I came
in on the tale end of it.
Tomorrow I open, which means I'll be
getting less than six hours of sleep. That will make for a long day.
But I get off at five o'clock and I'm going to make potato salad
when I get home. I don't know what else I'm going to have for
dinner. I haven't actually thought that far ahead. My eyes are on
the potato salad prize.
