I actually got to work a full shift at work today. I read a little bit about Van Gogh but spent most of my day playing Fantasy Life. There are large chunks of the game where you're just reading text and I had a lot of that today. Nothing against it, because they are telling their story, but it does get a bit tiring having to hit 'A' to make the text fully appear (not slowly appear, typewriter-style) and then 'A' again to move to the next screen of text. And then accidentally hitting 'A' and missing something but being unable to go back and also kind of not caring because you want it to be over. But I'm still enjoying the game and I'm looking forward to choosing another Life when I max out the Angler Life.

After work I went to the old house so I could check internet things and load up my car with a bunch of my crap that I couldn't manage to part with. All stuff that will now be cluttering up the new house. Hooray. While I was loading stuff it started to snow. It was real slow at first but by the time I was done loading and ready to leave, there was a fine layer of snow on the ground and I had to scrape my windshield because it was already frozen over. And I had just buried my ice scrapers under a pile of crap so I had to dig one out first.

When I got home I made another one of the pasta with seasonings that I got for Christmas. This one had a vegetable seasoning and it wasn't hot like the last one but it also didn't have much flavor. I'll need to come up with a way to remedy that.

I spent the rest of my night watching TV and playing Fantasy Life. Shocker. I watched several episodes of Mike & Molly and Archer, a show I really like but apparently missed an entire season of, at least. Lana was pregnant, Pam lost a lot of weight, and Cheryl was a Country music star. I'll need to play catch-up at some point.

In Fantasy Life I attained the rank of a Hero angler. With this came a cool whale hat. When you first start the game as an angler you are wearing a green fish hat. Although that was really cool, I stopped wearing it as soon as I got something that offered better stats. At the moment, I can continue wearing the cool blue whale hat because it offers a much better stat boost than anything else I have. Hopefully that remains to be the case. I also think I am nearing the end of the main story. Maybe. I don't really have any idea but it feels like I'm getting close. I just got the last goddess treasure and I think I'm close to going to Lunares. At least I'm assuming that is the next step, after the meeting between the four cities. We'll see what happens. Possibly tomorrow.
