This morning I woke up early. That was rough. It didn't help that the dogs were going through a thing and spent the morning growling at each other because breakfast didn't go so well. Tanner is an asshole and Beau wouldn't let it go and kept growling. After all of that I was actually glad to be leaving the house and going over to the old house to work on my room.

It isn't entirely obvious but I made a lot of progress today. I finished filling one large black trash bag and nearly filled a second. I continued working on the shelf that was at the foot of my bed, worked through all the stuff that was under my bed, and almost finished the shelf next to my computer. I'm keeping way too much crap, though. When I'm done with the initial sorting, I'm going to go back through the “keep” stuff and try to narrow it down even more. I don't want the new house to become as cluttered as the old one. Fingers crossed on that one.

I ended up working until dinner. I added the rest of the alfredo sauce to my pasta and the spiciness got better. I still felt it in the back of my throat but it was better on my tongue. After dinner I may or may not have taken a brief nap and played a little Fantasy Life before heading over to my friend's new place to watch Dexter with her and her boyfriend. It has been forever since we watched it, and according to her Netflix account we had made it through the first five episodes of the seventh season. I think her boyfriend was only halfway through the second episode of that season so we ended up starting there. We watched two episodes and it didn't take me long to remember them. Not the little details but the main plot points. So we didn't actually make any progress in terms of finishing the series, but it was still an enjoyable night. Before and in between episodes we had some good conversations. I don't get to have good conversations with people often enough. For Christmas my friend got me a small 3D train model made out of metal that I need to assemble at some point. It has got a lot of tiny parts so it is going to take awhile to finish. But it'll look pretty cool when I get it finished.

It is now two o'clock in the morning so I might not get up as early in the morning but I would like to make it over to the house before lunch. My friend is coming to town tomorrow and I'm not sure when so I'd like to get at least a little work done before possibly hanging out with him.
