Testing went a lot better today.
Even though there were four tests, just like yesterday, I got more of
a break after the first two and I ended the day with a regular class
in the lab, not a test, which made a difference.
During lunch I was able to order the
textbook for my second class. It still hasn't been added online but
I got an email saying that the university bookstore had it listed
wrong on their website, under Winter instead of Spring. Good to
know. I also learned that the syllabus could be found under the
course listings for the semester. You would think at some point all
these various methods of accessing class information would be
mentioned to students but whatever, I know about them now.
I also learned over lunch that my
motherboard is being delivered to the old house. I'm almost positive
I put the new address in but I guess it was canceled out by my saved
address. Even though I've already had something from Newegg
delivered to the new house. Who knows. But my computer is at the
old house so we can just say it being delivered there is actually
convenient. It should be here Saturday so hopefully I can get
everything sorted out this weekend and be back up and running.
A little while after I came home for
dinner my sister stopped by to drop off the mini garlic knots she
made. She also experimented making cinnamon ones so she brought over
a couple of those. Much like the garlic version, they were also
really good. I'm pretty sure I'd like them even if they were
completely plain. The bread is just that good.
Tonight I watched DVRed stuff and
played Fantasy Life.
I became a Miner and managed to make it up to Expert. It seems to
have leveled ridiculously fast. I've got around 800 points to go
before I level up again, which I think will make me a Master, so I'll
probably switch to my next life after that. One annoying thing is
that I leveled too fast and now can't complete one of the first
quests so it will forever be there. I think the problem is that it
counted a lot of the stuff I already had in my inventory toward Miner
quests so I had already leveled up once or twice as soon as I became
a Miner. Oh well. I'm still leaning toward Alchemist for my next
Life but that thought could easily change. I really want to craft a
better fishing pole so I can catch the giant gold swordfish (I think
it's a swordfish) out on the tropical island. I'm assuming it is the
pole that is keeping me back, even though I think it is one of, if
not the best poles in the game. I might just need to level up more
and get more strength or something. Anyway, soon enough I will have
to cut back drastically, possibly entirely, on Fantasy Life
and go back to reading textbooks. I can't wait.
