This morning I unintentionally slept
in. I woke up to turn my alarm off and then woke up again around
7:20PM. I do this most mornings but I usually don't fall back to
sleep for so long. I ended up leaving the house at pretty much the
same time I always do so everything worked out.
My morning at work was uneventful.
I watched three different groups of second graders make Kwanzaa
banners during reading groups. I then had both second grade classes
and one of the third grade classes in the lab before lunch. After
lunch I had the other third grade class, a small group of second
graders working on Khan Academy, and finally one of the fourth grade
classes.
I spent all my in-between times
reading over and editing my reflective journal. I made all the
changes that my favorite substitute marked yesterday, made several
more on the pages she didn't get to, and then read over the whole
thing again, making a couple more changes. I finished just in time
to submit it before I left work. I am officially done with my first
semester of grad school. Now I just have to wait for the final
grades. I'm not sure when those will be posted. Relatively soon, I
hope.
After work I stopped by the old
house and then headed home to eat the second half of my Chipotle
burrito before getting ready for work and then heading to the
theater. It was a very truncated evening. I read my book and few
saved internet articles during the first set and then I was sent home
a little before eight o'clock because we were so slow. That was kind
of annoying because I was just getting ready to start cross
stitching.
Instead of going home I came over to
the old house to watch YouTube videos. I also spent some time
looking at cross stitch fonts and I think I'm going to throw together
a different design for the cross stitch I was going to start tonight
and see how I like it. Maybe I'll get to work my full shift tomorrow
and I'll have time to at least finish the new pattern and maybe even
start cross stitching.
