It is late and I am tired. It's not as late as last night but I am
more tired because of last night. I should have gone to bed at least
an hour ago.
The Santa hat ended up being a pretty non-event. I only ended up
wearing it for about an hour during the school sing-along, the lights
were off most of the time, and the few teachers that noticed it
didn't have a clue about Minecraft. One of the second grade
teachers earlier in the day noticed my hat and got the joke, so it
wasn't all a waste of time. And I'm still happy with how it turned
out.
Overall, today was pretty boring. I helped figure out the sound for
a movie in the SPED room (by plugging in a cord) and figured out a
laptop connection issue (by turning on the wi-fi) but that was about
the only productive things I did. Most of my day was just spent
watching YouTube videos and looking at old cross stitch books. I
really didn't need to be at work today.
After work I went home because my grandma, aunt, and uncle were going
to stop by, which they did. My mom gave them the tour and we sat
around and talked for about an hour before they had to head out of
town. My mom had up a lot of the Santas my grandma and grandpa made
and she was worried that she should take them down so they wouldn't
upset my grandma. But she really liked it. My sister said my
grandma also really liked the picture of my Christmas tree that I
sent her. I am glad to hear that.
When they left I ate dinner and then headed to work. It was another
two-hour shift. I had enough time to read a few chapters in my book
and fix several issues with various projectors. So it was a
productive two hours at least. I then spent the rest of my night
watching YouTube videos and clicking around the internet, spending a
lot of time looking at cross stitch patterns. That has definitely
been a theme lately.
But now I'm going to head back to the new house and go to bed. There
is a strong chance I won't be working tomorrow, which I won't mind,
other than the fact that I won't be making any money. I'm definitely
in the mood to just lounge around the house.
