Another less than spectacular night of sleep. I slept for about twenty or thirty minutes and then I was wide awake. Around two o'clock I read a book for awhile. I then spent the rest of the night sleeping off and on. Mostly off. It sucked. And it was really hot. I like sleeping in a cold room and that really isn't a thing when the AC is not on after it was over 100 degrees outside.

Getting to work this morning was actually a bit of a reprieve. Until the building started to bake under the hot sun. It was another day spent with the novelty of my new laptop. I played through the second movie in LEGO: Pirates Of The Caribbean. Collecting all the little LEGOs, or studs, is definitely my favorite part of the game. My second favorite thing is the humor. If I finish the game and I'm still into the laptop I'll need to pick another LEGO game. I started playing the first Harry Potter game years ago but I don't think I made it too far.

I also continued playing Minecraft. I dug out half of the first room in my mountain house before switching to creative so I could fast forward a little bit. I like non-cheat digging because it gives me time to think about what to do next, but once I have an idea I want to speed things up so I can try it out before I forget. After getting everything dug out I put in some log pillars around the edge and put in a wood floor. I really like the fake windows I put in. I dug them out and hid torches behind them and instead of glass I used the pale blue stained glass so they are lit up and it always looks like daylight. I got off work early but before leaving I finished building stained glass lights on the ceiling and got a start on putting in floor lighting. It's not looking too bad.

I got the good news while I was at work that the AC guy had a cancellation and was able to come fix the AC this afternoon. I arrived home to a slightly warm house but there was cold air coming out of the vents. It will be another night with my second fan on but it feels far better than it did last night.

Tonight I did nothing of significance. Just watched YouTube videos and looked at Ikea furniture. For the last week or so I've been really into small mechanical keyboards. I think they are called 60% keyboards or something. Now I'm into Ikea furniture. What will tomorrow bring?
