Today I slept in once again. Past noon in fact, which I haven't actually done in a really long time. Over a year possibly. But I still only slept about eight hours so it wasn't like I was being lazy, just getting a full night of sleep after being up until four in the morning.

I took the plunge and bought a new phone today. It should be here sometime this week or next. Hopefully this week. I also spent a lot of time looking at graduate schools again. I have spent countless hours looking at graduate schools. Soon I will hopefully take that to the next step and actually start applying.

Yesterday my friend asked me if I wanted to go with him and his sister and cousins to see Sublime w/ Rome next Sunday at Red Rocks in Colorado. I had to think about it a little bit but today I decided to go. The plan is to drive out on Sunday, go to the concert, stay at his cousin's house Sunday night, go visit his other cousin on Monday, and then his sister and I will fly back on Tuesday morning, and then drive back from the airport in a rented car that should be waiting for us. And my friend will be continuing on his way to California. I'm a big fan of Sublime w/ Rome, I love Colorado, and I have always wanted to go to a concert at Red Rocks. So it should be a nice little vacation. And school starts next Wednesday so better late than never. It will be a little weird flying back and then driving back with his sister, even though I have known her since I was in fifth grade, because we have only ever talked briefly. And that was on Thursday when we all went out to the bars. But she is has become a lot more talkative in the past couple of years so it should be too weird.

Tonight I played more Half-Life. I made some decent progress but I'm not even halfway through the game yet. I was sure I was getting close to the end but apparently not. I also tried out a little multiplayer Cube World. I was only successful getting onto one server but I got disconnected before I could meet up with any other players. They did manage to beat a few bosses while I was connected though I got a buttload of money and experience by association. I also got a high level clothing item that was way better than what I was wearing. So that was cool.

Now I think I might read a little before going to bed. My goal is to not sleep through half the day tomorrow.
