This morning I wish I could have slept in quite a bit later than I
did. I probably got four or five hours of sleep. Which is not even
close to enough, especially after spending the night running around
in the rain with drunk people. But my mom wanted to go and decline
health insurance for work so I had to get up. The health insurance
thing is kind of stupid. I don't think either of us actually
qualify, which doesn't matter because we already have health
insurance, but we still have to go in and say we don't want it. Even
though we can't have it. Dumb.
After going to do the health insurance thing, I went shopping. I
rented some DVDs, bought dog food, and got a few things at Target. A
successful trip. When I got home I took a nap that was all too brief
and then got ready for work.
At work I finished another letter on my cross stitch. Now I am down
to just one letter to go. The final stretch. I can't even count the
number of hours I have put into it so far. And I still have several
more to go with that last letter. But I'm getting there.
While I worked on that I watched The Importance Of Being Earnest
and I started watching the first season of Duck Dynasty. The
Importance Of Being Earnest was a pretty good movie. It followed
the play pretty well (not surprising because it was originally a play
and written in dialog form) but the writer/director also managed to
expand the play enough to make it into an interesting movie. And it
was still as absurd as the play. Duck Dynasty is always good
times.
