This morning I slept until 11:30AM and it was great. I then got up,
edited my paper, and added a conclusion. Which I finished before
lunch, so I met my goal. Hooray for me.
After lunch I played video games. I played a little Rocket League
and had a couple good games and a couple bad ones. It is tricky
trying to play a team sport without being able to communicate with
your teammates. But it's still fun trying to figure out not only
what the other team is going to do but also what your teammates are
going to do. I also played The Division. It is hard to stay
engaged with the story with so much downtime in between playing the
game. And when I do play I tend to spend most of my time doing side
missions and random encounters and never make it to story missions.
I can see how the game can get boring with all the grinding, but I'm
still having fun. Which is good because I have less than thirteen
hours in the game and I am only level eleven. Right now the level
cap is thirty so I've got a ways to go. I'll probably never make it
and I imagine the level cap will get raised when the DLC comes out.
I didn't buy the season pass so there is also a chance I won't get
the DLC. I might lose interest by then. And No Man's Sky
comes out this summer and that looks like a game I can get lost in
for awhile.
Tonight I went to Easter dinner with my mom and sister at the Chinese
buffet. Very Easter. As always, it was delicious and I ate way too
much. It was fairly busy and there were a ton of college kids there,
which was both interesting and sad. I'm assuming they weren't able
to go home for Easter. But at least they had friends to hang out
with, so it wasn't totally bad.
Tonight I watched livestreams and played The Division. It was
a nice evening. Tomorrow I'll get back to school stuff. Yay. It
might just involve downloading articles but I should probably at
least read one. Next weekend is an in-person weekend so I can't save
my reading until next weekend. And there will probably be
weekend-related things that I'll need to look at. Something to look
forward to.
Now it is midnight so I think I'm going to go to bed. And by bed I
mean the floor under my desk. I put the mattress back on my bed
tonight but didn't put the sheets and blankets on and I don't feel
like doing that now. My camping air mattress has actually been
really comfortable. It kind of sucks getting off the ground in the
morning, or during the night when I have to go to the bathroom, but
other than that it has been pretty nice. But I need to stop typing
now so I can actually experience it because right now I will be
getting less than six hours of sleep and I'll be watching kids test
tomorrow. That is a rough combo.
