I did not wake up early this
morning. I turned off my alarm and went right on enjoying my
horizontal residence. I'm not that tired at the moment but I have no
regrets.
Before lunch I read through and made
a couple minor changes to my license review assignment. I'm happy
with it. Until maybe when I get the grade back and I've missed
points for something obvious. At which point I will no longer be
happy with it.
This afternoon I sewed and finished
seven of the bookmarks I started making the other day. Only eight
more to finish up. I think the idea behind making so many bookmarks
is to give them to all of the teachers and staff at work. If that is
the case I still have quite a few to make. I also need to make the
coasters for the few who gave me the gift cards that I used to buy my
sewing machine. Baby steps.
I watched several hours of the Ultra
Music Festival because today was the last day. My favorite
performance was easily Zedd. He completely destroyed it. The video
and light show was epic, his transitions were great, and the set list
completely worked. I found myself bobbing my head with no
recollections of when I had started. I know that several of the
artists put up the video of their set on their personal YouTube
channels and I am hoping Zedd does that this year. Or that someone
uploads it somewhere.
I put together a piece of exercise
equipment for my mom today. It came halfway assembled but I ended up
having to take it apart further in order to put it together. One of
the bars was mounted at an angle which prevented another piece from
screwing into it properly. I had to take the crooked bar off, screw
the other piece into it, and then put all my weight on the crooked
piece so my mom could hammer the bolt back through it. Kind of
ridiculous. But I got it together and hopefully she loves it and
uses it everyday for years to come.
Tonight after submitting my license
review assignment I played The Division
while watching the last few sets of the Ultra Music Festival. I
completed one main mission to unlock the tech stuff, completed a
bunch of random side missions, discovered a new safe house, and made
it to level eight. Progress.
As stated at the beginning of this
entry, I'm not tired yet. A consequence of sleeping in. I am hoping
to get to bed by midnight. I would also like to wake up at six
o'clock and run on the elliptical. I managed to do that all
throughout Spring Break but I wasn't having to wake up early to do
so, I just did it before taking a shower, whenever that happened to
be each day. Getting out of bed at six o'clock in the morning to
exercise is when the real struggle kicks in. Fingers crossed.
