Today was another day. I finally finished the third storybook and
got the cover done on the fourth one. I still feel like it is going
to take forever. But I'm one book closer.
I only had two classes in the lab today and second grade reading
groups, so there wasn't really a lot going on. The kindergarteners
made their Thanksgiving feast where the different foods are set up in
stations and the kids go around in groups and help make it. I was
there for it last year but for some reason I didn't make it down
there today. I think I was just too focused on finishing the
storybook.
After work I stopped by the bank to deposit a check from myself. I
am finally moving some money around so I can put more in my Roth IRA.
I really meant to do it a little while ago when the market was down
but I missed that. I might wait a little bit to see if it will drop
again.
There is other stuff I could write about but I want to sleep.
This morning I finished watching Indie Game: The Movie
and tonight I broke out Super Meat Boy
for the first time in a long time. I made a crazy amount of
frustrating progress. I think I was somewhere in world two when I
started and I stopped for the night right after getting to world
five. Lots of progress. While doing that I caught up on DVRed
stuff. And before that I watched a documentary on the Three Gorges
Dam. I think it was made sometime before it was actually finished so
I am going to need to do some more reading. I also need to watch it
again and write down some of the cool facts, like we used to have to
do in school. The most interesting one that I can remember is that
some smart people theorized that the weight of all the water in the
reservoir could possibly be enough to slightly alter the tilt of the
Earth, which would add a fraction of a second to each day. Crazy.
