Today I accomplished nothing. Not a single thing. I somehow managed
to make it through the single day without doing anything. I looked
at the instruction sheet for the research paper and the topic list
but still have no idea what I want to write about. I also looked at
the example papers which just makes the whole thing look more
daunting. I hate research papers. I like creative writing, not
stuffy academic writing.
And I take back the lack of doing anything thing because I just
remembered that I did read the two PDFs for this week's reading in
one of my classes. One was a paper about coming up with an
organizing schema for pictures, and the other was a paper about how
to improve the online library catalog. So there. Productivity.
I finished watching Doraleous & Associates. I'm pretty
sure I could watch all 49 episodes on repeat and never get tired of
them. I also watched a few more episodes of Salad Fingers and
it got exceedingly more strange with each episode. I thing there are
only ten so I'll finish it eventually.
Tonight I watched the Neebs livestream. The whole crew does the
Thursday stream and now they have started doing individual streams.
Simon streams on Mondays and tonight, Sundays, is Doraleous. The
opening of the stream was pretty epic. The stream was meant to have
a love advice theme so there were lit candles, Doraleous was dressed
up in fancy clothes, and his guest (who was just wearing a regular
t-shirt) had a tie and tiny hat. And the stream started by having a
third person push Doraleous on his office chair into the camera frame
and then walked over and pulled the other guy into frame. Very
amusing. Overall the stream was really good. I'd watch again.
I also played a little GTA5 Online. I participated in several
races to get myself up to level five and then bought an apartment.
There are a few house options, which apparently have the same
interior as lower level apartments, and I kind of wanted to get one
of those but when I was watching videos the inside of them were a bit
messy, which would have constantly bothered me. I ended up going
with one of the cheapest apartments that come with a ten-car garage
because the price was decent, it was somewhat near shops, and I liked
the view. I had it narrowed down to three options but one of them
was the most expensive apartment in the game and I didn't think the
view was as good as the one I chose, and the other one, which was
maybe slightly more expensive, had a better view but it was also
farther away from shops. I'm happy with my choice.
It's nearly eleven o'clock now but I slept in this morning so I'm not
really tired enough to go to bed yet. So I'll probably continue
watching YouTube videos and clicking around the internet for awhile.
I should probably just read one of the many books I want to read but
I won't. Unless I end up not being able to sleep later.
