I forgot that yesterday I stopped by the urologist's office after
work to figure out when my next appointment is. I scheduled it
almost six months ago after my surgery and had a card and everything
but during the move it disappeared. I think I put it in a super safe
place and then it turned out to be a little too safe. Turns out the
appointment isn't until the end of December, so I'm good. I thought
it was much earlier in December.
This morning I'm sure I did some things but I can't really remember.
Eventually I went down and helped with kindergarten literacy centers.
That was a bit truncated because immediately after we had an
assembly. And then I went back to not really doing anything.
This entry is very distracted.
I went out to the preschool today and figured out their SMART board.
Last week their trial of the software ran out and I remembered that
an older version of the software is free. I helped one of the
teachers get it figured out and today I got it working for the other
one. One of the paras was trying to get it working and my advice was
helpful but at the time I didn't think to run the installation of the
software as an administrator. But after I did that, all was good.
I kind of worked on my next reflective journal entry, reading a bit
in the case study book because that is what the entry is based on. I
think I'm going to talk briefly about the importance of information
ethics and then talk about intellectual freedom and privacy. The
reading covers other things, because it is over almost one hundred
pages, but I would like to go more in depth on a couple things rather
than trying to cover everything. So I didn't make much progress on
the entry, only a couple ideas and the opening sentence. It's a
start.
Tonight there was an impromptu Neebs livestream, which is the main
reason I'm only halfway paying attention to writing this. And I'm
going to stop writing now because of that reason. And because it is
almost ten o'clock and I need to call it a night.
