I finished watching Blue Crush 2
last night. Not a great movie but I've seen worse. By far my
favorite part was the credits. As they scrolled by, they had the
entire hippie group of surfers (at least twenty people) walking
side-by-side along the beach with their surf boards. In slow motion.
And it continues for five minutes, occasionally switching angles.
And they aren't walking anywhere, they're just walking along the
beach with no obvious goal ahead of them. It was incredibly weird.
Today was a pretty normal, boring
day. Skyrim still
hasn't shown up in my game library so I emailed Steam today. We'll
see how long it takes to hear back from someone. Or for the game to
magically show up in my library.
I took apart the faucet in the
kitchen sink but couldn't figure out what was wrong with it. On
Thanksgiving it started not immediately turning off when the handle
was pushed down. It goes for a second or two longer while the water
slowly trickles out. I thought maybe it was a washer but it wasn't
and nothing else obvious jumped out at me. I did clean everything
out though so at least the water will be a little bit cleaner now.
At some point during the day, and
then through most of the night, I watched the first Yogscast
Christmas livestream of the year. They do it to raise money for
charity and tonight they raised over $100,000. That is crazy. I
can't remember how much they raised last year but they are definitely
on track to blow it out of the water because they still have the rest
of the month to go. They ended the stream by playing a cricket game
because they said they would if they hit $100,000. At some point I
would like to watch an actual cricket game. I've only ever seen
parts and it is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, sports in the
world.
While watching the stream I played a
bit of Ocarina Of Time
on the N64. I didn't make a lot of progress but I did learn a new
song. I'm close to getting the Goran bracelet so I can pick up
bombs. On Wednesday the 3DS version should arrive so I can start
playing it there. At that point I don't know if I will continue
playing it on the N64. We'll see.
And that is all I have to write
about. I'm going to go throw my clothes in the dryer and then go to
bed. It is just past 9:30PM but I am tired.
