Today
was boring. I went down and helped with literacy centers in
kindergarten this morning and then didn't have a single class in the
lab. I spent the rest of my morning making two posts on the
discussion thread for this week and I feel like I am slowly getting
better at wrapping my head around FRBR. It is also nice reading
other people's posts and seeing that I'm not the only one that didn't
immediately grasp the concept of the model. I will admit, though,
that it is kind of fun trying to figure out the examples that the
professor is posting.
This
afternoon I messed around with some ideas for this year's sixth grade
slideshow. I need to email the sixth grade teacher and make sure
that is still a thing that is happening. And maybe have him start
collecting pictures because things are going to get real busy before
too long. I'll be juggling state assessments, MAP testing, and
assignments for school. Along with the yearbook and the slideshow.
Not looking forward to all of that.
There
ended up being two classes in the lab this afternoon, the only two
all day, but by then I was down in the library, talking to the
librarian about library things because I was bored sitting in the lab
by myself all day. It was a good conversation so I'm glad I stuck
around for that instead of going back to the lab.
After
school I stood around and talked with the principal for awhile before
packing up and heading home, with a brief stop for gas.
Tonight
I did not accomplish a thing. I could have posted on the discussion
thread but I already posted twice today and we're supposed to spread
our posts out throughout the week. So maybe I'll do that tomorrow at
work if things are equally boring.
I
did watch the Neebs stream tonight. That's about it. I wanted to do
something productive but I always want to do something productive and
I very rarely do. Tonight was not one of those rare occasions.
